Good Loop Studio ("we," "our," or "us") develops and operates mobile games and applications. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you play our games or use our apps (collectively, the "Services").
This policy applies to all Good Loop Studio games published on Google Play and the Apple App Store. It does not apply to third-party websites or services linked from within our games.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
Account information. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your display name, email address, and Google account ID. Playing as a guest (anonymous) requires no account.
Customer support. If you contact us, we collect the information you include in your message (e.g., email address, description of the issue).
Information collected automatically
Device identifiers. Device model, operating system version, language, and advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID / GAID on Android; IDFA on iOS).
Game progress and economy. Level reached, coins earned and spent, lives state, daily bonus streak, and in-game achievements — stored in our cloud to sync across devices.
Session and analytics data. Session start/end times, levels played, events triggered within the game (e.g., level completed, level failed, purchase initiated), app version, and device performance metrics (framerate, crash logs).
Ad interaction data. Whether you watched a rewarded ad, skipped it, or interacted with an interstitial. Ad network identifiers used for ad delivery and measurement.
Purchase data. Products purchased (e.g., "remove_ads," coin packs), purchase timestamps, and transaction receipts. We do not receive or store your credit card number or bank details — payments are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Notification token. A device token used to deliver local push notifications about lives, daily bonuses, and re-engagement reminders. We do not use this for marketing emails.
Approximate location. Inferred from your IP address (country/region level) in our games.
Precise location (weather app only). With your permission, our weather application accesses your device's GPS coordinates solely to retrieve the local weather forecast. These coordinates are transmitted to third-party weather APIs (see Section 4) and are not stored on our servers, not linked to your identity, and not used for advertising or analytics. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.
Information from third parties
Google Sign-In. When you link your Google account, we receive your name, email, and Google ID as authorised by you during sign-in.
App stores. Google Play and Apple App Store provide us with information necessary to validate purchases. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies.
3. How We Use Your Information
Provide and operate the Services. Save your game progress, synchronise it across devices, process in-app purchases, and deliver in-game features (lives, daily bonus, economy).
Deliver and personalise ads. Show interstitial and rewarded ads through LevelPlay (IronSource). Where required by law, we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads.
Improve our games. Analyse how players interact with levels and features (via GameAnalytics) to balance difficulty, fix bugs, and design new content.
Send local notifications. Remind you when your lives have refilled or your daily bonus is available. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Verify purchases and prevent fraud. Validate purchase receipts with Google Play / Apple App Store.
Apply Remote Config. Fetch server-side configuration (feature flags, balance values) to update game behaviour without requiring an app update.
Comply with legal obligations. Respond to lawful requests from authorities, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect our legal rights.
Legal bases for processing (EEA, UK & Switzerland)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
Performance of a contract — operating the game, saving progress, processing purchases.
Legitimate interests — analytics, fraud prevention, game balancing, security.
Consent — personalised advertising and push notifications (where required by law).
Legal obligation — compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requests.
4. Third-Party Services and SDKs
Our games integrate the following third-party SDKs. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Remote Config)
Anonymous & Google authentication, cloud save synchronisation, server-side configuration
Ad networks integrated through LevelPlay may also collect advertising identifiers and ad interaction data under their own policies. You can limit ad tracking via your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking).
5. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
Service providers. Third-party SDKs and vendors listed in Section 4 that process data on our behalf to operate the Services.
Legal requirements. When required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.
Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to a successor entity subject to the same privacy commitments.
With your consent. For any other purpose you explicitly authorise.
6. Your Choices
Push notifications
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's system settings (Settings → Notifications → [Game Name]). Disabling notifications does not affect gameplay.
Advertising identifiers
You can reset or limit the use of your advertising identifier:
Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset advertising ID / Opt out of ads personalisation.
iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → Allow Apps to Request to Track (off).
Account and cloud data
If you have signed in with Google, you can unlink your account from within the game's Settings panel. Your local save data will remain on the device. To request deletion of your cloud data, contact us at the address in Section 13.
Deleting the app
Uninstalling the game removes locally stored data from your device. Data already stored in our cloud (Firebase Firestore) is retained per our retention policy in Section 9, unless you request deletion.

8. Children
Our Services are available to users of all ages; however, we apply additional protections for younger users.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where required by applicable law, including GDPR) without verifiable parental consent. Our games do not include features that require children to submit personal information beyond what is strictly necessary to play.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us at contact@goodloopstudio.com and we will promptly delete the information.
Where required by applicable app store policies or law, we may limit the collection of advertising identifiers and the delivery of personalised ads for users identified as children.
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Cloud save data (Firestore): retained while your account is active. Deleted within 90 days of a verified deletion request.
Analytics data (GameAnalytics): retained per GameAnalytics' own retention policy (typically 24 months), in pseudonymised form.
Ad data (LevelPlay / IronSource): retained per IronSource's own policy.
Purchase records: retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting regulations (typically 5–7 years).
Support correspondence: retained for up to 2 years after the issue is resolved.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it so that it can no longer be associated with you.
10. Data Transfers
Good Loop Studio operates globally. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States, where our service providers (Google, Unity, IronSource) maintain infrastructure.
If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, such transfers are made subject to appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or equivalent mechanisms under applicable law. By using our Services you acknowledge these transfers.
11. Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information — including Firebase's built-in security rules restricting each user's access to their own data, encrypted data transmission (TLS), and access controls on our internal systems.
No system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at contact@goodloopstudio.com.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you through the app or via push notification before the change takes effect.
Your continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
